Taxi Driver Throws Passenger Out Of His Taxi For Littering, A taxi driver in Russia took a stand for the environment when he physically threw out a passenger for littering from his vehicle.

Video footage recorded by the dashboard camera of a car travelling behind the taxi captured the entire scene.

The video shows the moment when the passenger in the BMW taxi casually throws a bottle out of the window while they wait in traffic near St. Petersburg, Russia.

He is seen picking up the bottle from the side of the road, before opening the door to the passenger seat.

He grabs the young male passenger by his neck and trousers and throws him out of the taxi, head first.

While the shocked passenger is trying to compose himself and get back up, the driver gets back in the taxi and does a sharp U-turn.

The passenger can do nothing but watch as the driver takes off.

‘The taxi driver who was driving ahead of me noticed that his passenger threw rubbish on the roadside and decided to teach him a lesson,’ a witness said according to UniLad.

‘He got out of the car and threw the passenger out. This is justice.’

 

 

In some countries, if some drunk or disrespectful person is causing a real disturbance on a train or a bus, no one will take the initiative to talk to the person or use light force to remove them from the scene.

They will literally wait around for police to arrive, helplessly just waiting and delaying the entire train or bus from moving if there is one drunk person acting erratically.

That’s not how it is in Russia. In St. Petersburg, Russia, a hilarious clip was recently captured of a taxi driver getting out the car, and throwing a passenger out to be stuck on the side of the road for littering in a blatant and disrespectful manner. First, the vehicle is moving unusually slow in what appears to be traffic but it looks like a rural area so that’s hard to explain. As they slowly move, the passenger is seen throwing out what might be a can that used to contain an alcoholic beverage.

One article chose to phrase it as, “Stomping menacingly to the back of the vehicle, the driver picks up the piece of rubbish – signalling briefly to the car behind – before heading to the offending passenger’s door.” I mean, it’s not “menacing.”

The driver opened the passenger door and threw the passenger straight to the ground. The litterer looked a little bewildered but not all that surprised, and the driver just hops back in the vehicle. It’s a textbook, normal case of someone being assertive.

From the vehicle behind them I guess the footage was taken, and the person who filmed it said:

“The taxi driver who was driving ahead of me noticed that his passenger threw rubbish on the roadside and decided to teach him a lesson. He got out of the car and threw the passenger out. This is justice.”

People were quick to notice this happened in Russia, with some comments reading:

“Keeping Russia clean of garbage and drunks. Go Russia go !!”

“This man deserves a medal! (The driver ofc)”

If you think about it, Russian culture is extremely similar to American culture. In a lot of European countries, or Australia/New Zealand, people are surprised by this kind of assertiveness. In America, there’s nothing surprising about it, and I guess it’s like America in Russia. The geopolitical rivalry between the people who claim to govern Russia and the US can’t take away from the fact that we share significant cultural similarities, compared to the rest of the world.

Of course, “culture” is not set in stone, it’s ever-changing and any people can decide to be any way they want, and we don’t need a national identity but it’s interesting to think how America and Russia are similar at this moment.

There’s a lot to get annoyed about when it comes to the roads, whether it’s a driver going too fast, a driver going too slow, someone playing their music just that little bit too loud or someone who simply can’t decide what lane they want to be in.

Taking up two spaces in a crowded car park because you can’t be bothered to park properly is up there, too, by the way – as is neglecting to use that damn indicator of yours, as it means we’re all left to guess what your next move could possibly be. Man, the list really could go on forever.

In the pictures,  you can see the taxi driver actually stop the car (just like your parents always used to threaten to do!) before walking around the car, picking up the bottle, putting it back in the car and forcibly removing his passenger, throwing him to the floor.

He then swiftly turns around and drives off from both the queue of traffic and the man he’d been driving.

The stranded passenger hobbles up and looks around in disbelief.

Many people commented on the YouTube video to praise the taxi driver’s reaction, saying that his passenger ‘deserved it’.

One person wrote: “That’s awesome!!! That taxi driver is a legend.”

Another said: “Lmao. I love it! I’d love it even more if I knew what the guy was saying!“

Someone else added: “It’s cool!! good job taxi driver!!”

A fourth said: “This is awesome hahahha deserved it.”

Some even speculated that the passenger could have been drunk, with one saying: “I think he’d have been tossed for being a drunk arsehole and the bottle out the window was the last straw.”

However, not everyone was quite so impressed by the footage, with others questioning whether or not the scenes had been staged.

“Faker than kardashian’s body!” one person posed.

He clearly wan’t thinking about the damage he could cause to the environment. And he definitely couldn’t have guessed the toll his actions would take on his dignity…

The footage then shows the taxi coming to a complete halt. The furious taxi driver storms out of the car, slamming the door behind him. He is clearly not happy by the actions of his passenger, and looks all set to confront him.

Ripping the door open, the driver pulls the passenger from the car and throws him unceremoniously to the side of the road; as if he himself had been a crumpled can of beer or takeaway packet.

The bewildered passenger stumbles to his feet in the dusty road, looking utterly shocked at the driver’s unique brand of litter vigilantism. Meanwhile, the driver hops back in his car as if this was merely a regular day for him.
